I wonder if anyone has experience with the above surgeons. I know Dr. Tom Geocaris is a character, but was their after care suitable? I read the surgeon comment pages, but a lot of the comments were made 2-3 years ago. Anything anyone could tell me would be helpful. Thanks Susan

I'm not a patient of theirs. However, I know of 2 different people who are. The one - Ken Schuh (Captn K-Man) he isn't online hardly at all anymore. However, Ken has LOVED Dr. Geocaris and the care that he has received from them. I am going to say...that you are in good hands!! Otherwise if you are near Madison area - Dr. Sunby/Huepenbecker (prefer Sunby for the 'actual' follow updr.) Are wonderful also. Good LUck, Gala

Hi Susan!! Yes, Gala is CORRECT!! I literally owe my life to Dr. Tom!! He did a super job with me, his staff is SUPER and I can't thank the hospital staff enough for the care I got. You should read my profile to get the whole scoop. I haven't updated in quite a while, but you will get the jist from all I wrote so far. I did have a very severe complication 3 days after surgery and ended up having my wls re-done by Dr. Tom during that emergency procedure. It was a fluke comp. that could happen to anyone and was not the fault of the good doctor. I can't stress to you enough how confident I am in his ability and all the people there at Bellin that work to be sure you have a good experience. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to drop me a line and I will do my best to answer any questions you may have. My e-mail is [email protected]. Best of luck to you and let me know how it goes...Cap'n K-Man
