HELP I HAVE NO INSURANCE!!!!

I HAVE NO INSURANCE AND IM INTERESTED IN THE LAPBAND. I LIVE IN MADISON AND I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE IS IN MY SITUATION. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT FOR MONTHLY PAYMENTS. THE OFFICES I HAVE CONTACTED ARNT REAL OPEN WITH THEIR FEES. IF YOU CAN HELP I WOULD APPRICIATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Nancy, I live in Rhinelander, WI. Way up north. Anyway I am going to IL to the Barix clinic for a consultation on Tuesday, Jan. 3rd. They have a flat rate for Lapband and GBS. It is around $13,000 for Lap and $25,500 for GBS. They also give you a name of a bank to get financing. This is the cheapest that I have found it. They do do it around here, but it is double that price, so thought it would be worth it to go down there. Hope this helps, if you have anymore questions email me at [email protected]. Tammy H.

Hi I was banded last June at St. Mary's hospital in Madison. My Doctor was through Dean. I was a self pay. The cost is between 15-17K. I believe Dean has a payment plan. I took out a second mortgage on my house to pay for it and would do it again in a heartbeat. Yours in pounds down, Jen -110

Hi Nancy, I got this info from St Mary's a few months back. I think September... RNY $23,100.00 for a 3-4 day stay Lap Band $13,093.00 for a 1 day stay These are just estimates from Dean St Marys in Madison They do offer discounts for self pays. I don't beleive that these cost cover after care or any testing before hand. Hope this helps a little Kimmie
