WESTERN WISCONSIN WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY - SUPPORT GROUP HUDSON, WI HEY ALL.... Ok....first an update.... RENEE HAS JOINED THE RANKS OF THE LOSERS!!! I just got off the phone with her and she is doing better today. They took the binder off and she says that she feels much better. Also, she had some troubles getting ahead of the pain...but doing better today and on liquid pain meds. She will be leaving the hospital tomorrow and going home...won't be able to sleep in her waterbed for a bit...but has a recliner and a spare bed to help in her recovery. She won't be attending the meeting on Saturday...understandable...but keep her in your thoughts while she's recovering...or better yet...why not send her an E-Card to wish her well.... Julie Ray is coming to us from Health Partners!! She also has had the surgery and will be sharing her story and a video. Julie is also working with us in obtaining the backing of our support group through Health Partners... Monica Ganz is the Director of Events and Chapter Leaders and when I went through the training for becoming a Chapter Leader...I told her that I was going to bring her to Hudson!! Well, our OH EVENT will be June 4th, 2006 at the Best Western Hudson House...from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We have verbal committment from 3 surgeons (HCMC, REGIONS and PARK NICOLLET) to come and speak at the conference. Also, I am awaiting the response from a Plastic Surgeon. We also have 3 venders that will be coming as well...and I have several establishments willing to donate gift certificates for various services to be used as door prizes. I can't begin to tell you how excited I am that OH is coming to Hudson....and even more so that Monica is coming!! I can't wait to meet this inspirational lady that she is...her support is endless and enthusiasm in our members success is awesome!!
