Abdominal Binder: ANYONE?? 3 days to S Day!

I've heard post-op's talk about an 'abdominal binder', both pos. & neg. Anyone KNOW of, or EXPERIENCED using this contraption? Inquiring mind needs to know! Surg. date 11/09/05 Yikes!!!! Belinda

Belinda, as you probably already know, as your surgery is today! The binder helps for the first few weeks, at least for me it did. I had it open more than 4 years ago, and that binder helped hold me together, but being as big as I was, it did rub and give me sores, so all in all it only lasted about 2 weeks, before I stopped wearing it.
