Hi all, I'm looking for a Bariatric Cookbook. I was at Barns and Noble yesterday....but I had no idea on what I was looking for. Is there even such a thing?? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Kimmie

I found two cookbooks on Amazon.com written by people, one a chef, who have had the surgery. They look pretty good with a variety of foods. I haven't tried any yet - my surgery is tomorrow! Culinary Classics-Essentials of Cooking for the Gastric Bypass Patient by Chef Daniel Fouts Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery by Patt Levine and Michele Bontempo-Saray (Patt had WLS) The book by Patt Levine has serving guidelines listed for each recipe if you had a lap band, GBP, BPD-DS, are on solids or puree, etc. Amazon has a few more cookbooks but I've only bought these for now. They really do have recipes that sound very tasty, WLS surgery or not! Kathy
