OT: Visiting your state from CA

Hi! I am from California and I will be visiting your great state in early November to see the Green Bay Packers. I was wondering what the weather is like during that time. We are flying on November 5 and will be leaving November 7th. Am I going to freeze? I have purchased some Packer items on their website. I would welcome any suggestions!!!! I love the Packers!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again, Heather from Southern California

Hi Heather! Yes, if you are from California and have that thin-blood that most Californians do, you will freeze! Honestly, it's really hard to say what the weather might be like. We could have snow. Or, it could be in the 50s or 60s. It just depends on how fast the snow moves into the area. There have been plenty of years where there was snow storms on or before Halloween. What you'll want to do is wear layers that you can either put on or take off as you need to. As we get closer to November 5th, like during that week, send another message and someone here in Wisconsin (most likely me) will get you the forecast for Green Bay for the 5th-7th. That's your best bet. But realize too that here our weather changes really fast. I'm on the Western edge of Wisconsin and the last week we've been in the upper 60s/low 70s during the day and dropping into the 40s and 30s at night. That's pretty warm for this area for this time of the year. I see we're supposed to be in the low 50s for a high here by this coming weekend though. Hope you have a blast at the Packer's Game! Nancy, I REALLY appreciate you getting back to me. I will post a message again in about two weeks. Please look for it! Believe it or not, here in So Cal, the weather here on Friday was 94 and today it down to the high 60's and raining with thunder and lightning. I love it!!! I will have to pray that it does not snow while I am in there in Wisconsin. I don't that well when it is that cold..LOL!! The game is going to be interesting as it is because my husband is a Steelers fan and I am a Packers fan. (they are playing each other there) The Packers just have to WIN!! I'm glad you're comming to visit our great state. Yes, you will freeze! The weather here is so weird at this time of year, It could be in the 70's or could be snowing! Bring your long underwear.

I just got my order from Packers Store. I got a jacket, a turtle neck, 2 pairs of socks and a rugby shirt. I plan on doing LOTS of layers!!! Who knows! Maybe Green Bay will get freak weather and it will be 80 degrees...lol..I know that I am a big dreamer!! I still have to go out and get the long underware. Thanks Kristin for your reply! Hi, I am so glad to see your post! I live in Wisconsin and have season tickets for the Packers. I am also a Steelers fan! My hubby and I are hitting the Nov 21st game against the Vikings. Is that the game you are going to as well?

Melissa, My husband and I are going to the Packer-Steeler game on November 6th. I also like the Vikings. That will be a great game. You are so lucky to have season tickets. My husband's co-worker has season tickets, that how we were able to get them. I am really excited about going to see the Packers. I love Brett Favre!!! I want to be able to say I saw him play in person!!!! I just wish that they were playing better. But what can they do when they have so many of their starters out with injuries.
