Newbie - Appleton WI

Hi! I am considering WLS and just attending the info session at Theda Clark. Has anyone dealt with Dr(s) Wasco & Georgen? The meeting went well, they cleared up a few things I was scared of. I guess I'm looking for someone that has been thru it and can tell me what to expect from the surgery as well as the hospital and surgeon's. It's time for a change.

Hi Missy and welcome! You are at the beginning of a great journey with lots of good things to look forward to. It's not an easy thing. What kind of surgery do you want to have? I had a Lap-Band, not as many of those surgeries are done as are RNY. I am happy with my surgery and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I know lots of RNYers who say the same thing. Hi Missy - My name is Annie and I also live in the Fox Valley area. I am planning to have the surgery and am in the process of getting things together for insurance purposes. The Theda Clark group is who I plan to go through. Good luck with your decision and I applaud you for doing your research. This surgery isn't for everyone.
