Good support meeting in Madison

I went to a very good support meeting at the UW East in Madison with my daughter on Monday night. If you attend the same meeting on the 2nd monday of the month please introduce yourself so I can visit with you if you want. My daughter is having the VG on Sept. 20th in San Francisco and she is 22 years old. Looking forward to the next meeting. Priscilla

Hey Priscilla, I also attend the meetings at UW East. I was not a patient of Dr. Garren, but have him as a doctor now. I had my surgery 2 yrs ago, and still have weight to loose. The surgeon I had was not established in this type of surgery so I had some complications. I will be there for the Sept meeting. I was unable to attend the August meeting. Hopefully you received some good information from it. The Dtrs here in Madison at the UW are great. They are always at the meetings and available for questions outside of the meetings too. Hi Deb, Just read your post to mine from way back in Aug. My daughter had her surgery on 9/20 in CA and she is doing great. We hope to be at the November meeting so let me know if you will be there. Priscilla
