Question about out of network approval

I am wondering if anyone here has had approval for an out of state surgeon (MN) to be exact from Wisconsin Medicade? My son-in-law would like to have the DS surgery, but there are no surgeons around Green Bay that do this. He would like to use the same surgeon I did. I went to their website, and as it looks, they do not cover the DS. Can anyone help with this? All responses appreciated. Pat - 70 pds - 40 inches Dr. Crystal Schlosser

Hi Pat, The only doctors I know of in Wisconsin that do the DS are in Milwaukee and Madison. None in the Green Bay or Fox River Valley area. Sorry, I don't know their names. Try the DS message board. Lori Ann
