SCARED - NERVOUS - ANXIOUS

Hey Fellow WI WLS friends, I am here in Monterrey for revision from lapband to lapRNY on Monday. The Dr's assistant came by awhile ago to drop off some meds and she told me that if he opens me up and my band errosion is too bad then he will NOT BE ABLE to do the revision to RNY. This is almost more than I can bear. I just have got to have this surgery, my mental and physical health depend on it - not to mention my relational health. So if anyone has been down this road please give a SHOUT OUT and tell me your story. with my fingers crossed and my knees bowed! Renee'

Hey Terri, Thanks for the encouragement. I can't really call you or have you call me because of being in Mexico, but I will post to the site the day after surgery to let everyone know how things turned out. I just read your profile . . . my husband isn't exactly jumping for joy that I am doing this. Obviously he is not standing in my way as I am here in Mexico for surgery tomorrow but he is not supportive or encouraging in any way at all. Whatever, this is about me for once and not about anyone else. I"ll talk to you on Tuesday. Renee'
