Date of surgery

I am having my surgery in Wausau on July 13. Has any one in here hadtheir surgery in Wausau? I am so excited to start this new chapter of my life. I am 60 years old and I have had a problem with my weight my whole life. This is the most I have ever weighed.

Mary, Hi! Yes I had my surgery in Wausau with Dr. Weiland from surgical associates; I had it Dec 3, 2003 and things are going good; I have lost 160lbs and feel so different, I to have been large my whole life, I am now 40 and feel like i could whip the world. I had no problems from the surgery and no complications at all, it is a new life change that is for sure but well worth it I believe I would do it again in a heartbeat. I have a long way to go yet seeing I was over 450lbs before surgery, and have major back problems I used to have to walk with a cane and sit in a wheelchair; those days are long gone I am out and about and doing; good. I think the year after is the hardest not to fall back into old eating habits, its so easy to do.......and exercise even the littlest of things is so so important.
