Need a good WLS Lawer !!!!

I need some advice or a good lawyer for fighting my exclusion on my insurence policy ..anyone have any advice????

Hi Vicki, I dont know of lawyers personally in WI who do these cases, the only thing I can think of is the State Bar's Lawyer Referral and Information Service. They may know someone. Their number is (800) 362-9082. You can also get a referral through their website at (www)legalexplorer.com. The only other thing I can think of is (www)obesitylaw.com. I haven't ruiled out suing my health care provider for refusing to cover my costs. Keep me posted on how things go for you!!! Jen

I haven't yet crossed that bridge, my insurance company has until the 26th to see reason. If they don't, I think I am going to contact Gary Viscio at obesitylawyers.com. From all of the reading I have been doing here on the boards (and on the Insurance board in particular) he seems to have been more helpful and caring than the other (obesitylaw.com) Good luck to you! I tried a law site I found through OH(link advertiser) They had a program for folks who have not been "officially" turned down by their insurance company. I sent them a check for $245 and then began calling their office in LA,CA. Durring business hours,I only got voice mail no matter which line I punched. I left messages to call me at work, at home,my cell.... to no avail. I cancled the check on Monday asit had not yet cleared...luckely. It was called The Obesity Law Institute. I am now going to try bandedlawyer.com on a referal from this site. I'll post my sucess or lack of. Ed
