An introduction

HI! My name is Traci and while I grew up in Wisconsin I moved away many years ago when I married into the Air Force. Hubby is from Wisconsin also and finally, now that he is retired we are considering leaving this horrible place and coming HOME!! It will probably take another year but I am so happy about this I could just bust!! Anyway, I am over 2 years post-op and at this stage I am having no troubles with keeping my weight stable. I will look forward to talking with my fellow Yankees. (remember, I have lived in Texas 10 years now, so if I say "y'all" please overlook it as my brain has been baked in this unrelenting heat for too long LOL) I look forward to getting to know all of you, Traci

While you enjoyed a nice, pleasant 62 degrees, here in Abilene (aka surface of the sun) we baked in a sweltering 97 degrees. The breeze was blowing at about 40 miles an hour (the usual speed around here) and the hot, blasting air contained bits of sand and other wonderful debris. LOL It's only another 14 months or so. I can hold out, right? LOL Time will go by quickly. Traci
