An introduction

Hi my name is Jennifer, I'm having a lap-band on June 14. I am very much on a rollercoaster. I have been on this journey since August and unsuccessfully fought the insurance companies hard. I have a lot of support from my family and my work, and my best friend has been incredibly supportive. I've been lurking a lot and decided to get out in the open. I have so much work to do and I'm ready....eating is truly hell right now. I made an appt with my doc to manage my diabetes meds as I do this. One more appt. to look forward to. lol I'm 38, married, no kids, professiuonal. Just wanted to let you all know im here. I'm sure as the date gets closer I will have questions!!! Thanks, Jennifer

You have a great surgeon and team working with you. I'm a fellow Sunby patient. I'm 10 mon. post op. I had Lap RNY in July of last year. I'm not to far from Madison - about 45 min. or so. Take Care and best of luck. Feel free to email me if you would like. Gala
