pain????

having pain under my right rib cage.Sharp pain that takes my breath awayand it also comes and goes. and ideas what it might be would help. ty!!

gallbladder? I've not had problems, but that is where the ultrasound tech was trying to find my gallbladder during my pre-op exams. Have you called your physician?????? Sue O.

It could be a Gas pain - I am almost a year out & last month I was having pains ... found out I had a leak or perforation in my intestine ... if it lasts more then a few days I would go to the doctor. When I had gallbladder problems the pain was on the right side about half way down my torso & would go froom my front to my back ... Sue 318/170/AT MY GOAL

Hi Diane, It could just be gas pain but it could also be your gall bladder...I know when I had problems I almost passed out a few times the pain was so bad. Is this happening right after you eat, especially fatty foods? Definately get an ultrasound...the pain might go away, even for a month or two, but don't wait, get it checked out. I found changing positions sometimes helped ease the pain...like laying down flat on my back or going from standing to sitting or vise versa. Good luck! Ally www.allymoll.com
