Miss Carolyn is a lovely 71 year old lady from Forest, MS, who has been attempting to have WLS, but is hearing now that due to medical conditions and age, it may not be a possiblity for her. She is very discouraged and upset. She does not have a computer and will not be able to respond, but I wanted her to know that people from all over the country were praying for her. Miss Carolyn, I was very sad to read that because of your age and health conditions you are not able to have WLS. I know you must feel hurt and frustrated. They say for every door that shuts in our life a window opens. For some reason it was not in God's plan for you to have this surgery. The surgery is very evasive for your body and if you are in a fragile state, it is a blessing that the doctor does not feel comfortable performing it on you. Maybe it was a blessing it turned out this way for you.You sound like a lovely lady. Most likely you are a mom and grandma, try to enjoy the rest of your life with your family and put WLS out of your mind. We have choices everyday on things we do and things we eat.
