Considering Lapband need all the input I can get

Greetings from Green Bay, I have gone to seminar on bariatric surgery. I was told by surgeon because of my age (65) that lapband is my only option. I need to talk to folk that have had this surgery. the pro's and con's. I guess my biggest fear is that it will not stay off. I will be self paying for this and we are by no means rich. So before we take a loan out on our house I want to dig deep into this. My hubby is all for it and I am less afraid of this surgery than the other types. Please let me know your oponion on this lapband. thank you in advance Judie
