people don't know me after 50 lbs...FUNNY!

Oh my god. I had some really weird experiences lately. I run a karaoke show & sometimes i can play a place just once a month. So, mind you people aren't used to seeing the new me. If i didn't think i have changed much in 50 lbs, this has prooved me wrong. I went to set up for my New Years gig & was approached by one of my regular singers. He proceeded to question me about weather i was the set up person for the reg. karaoke girl. The owner stood there laughing because she had spent quite a bit of time trying to make him believe it was me & couldn't get it accross to him. When i told him that i new him & i was "Laurie", he said no way. You don't look like her at all. & then said "WOW"! A similar thing happened the weekend after that. Gosh! When your used to seeing yourself everyday, you must not realize the change as much as others. What fun. I'm having a blast with experiences like this. How bout you. Wow Laurie! Congrats on the weight loss. I started out at 262 and now weigh 168. I get the same response from people who haven't seen me. Isn't it fun!! Enjoy the new you. I know I am. And keep up the good work. Your doing great!
