Home from hospital

Well all, I made it home. Surgery was uneventful. However, the overnight was nightmare. I had a very bad reaction to the Lortab, wretching from 10 pm-6 am. The nursing staff was not nearly as prompt, but I guess they really couldn't do anything except comfort me. The upper GI showed no problems/slippage of the band. YIPPEE! Now, I just ache all over. Only my port site is painful, all other spots are itchy (healing) Did sleep for 8 hours after getting home. So am up in the wee hours. Will probably go back to bed soon. I'm already down another pound.

Hi Chris, Glad everything went well for you! Now we can begin this new life together. So far I feel great. Just not losing much. One # in the first 10 days. I'll be posting a message to the Milwaukee WLS support group soon. My computer has been on the fritz. But glad to hear all is well with you. See you at the next support group. Marsha
