New Support Group being formed in Rice Lake

Hi everyone! There is a new support group being formed at Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake. The first meeting will be on December 2 at 5:30-6:30pm. I have to say that I am excited that this group is being formed. I have no idea what to expect. I worked for a bariatric surgeon in St. Paul, MN for 3 years and was involved in the support group there. I can't wait to be involved at this one also. Won't you please join me? I had the RNY April 24, 2004 and husband had a VBG on May 18. Between the 2 of us we have lost a whole person. We feel great! Can't wait to meet others and talk!! Hi Stephanie, I'd be thrilled to join a group. I live an hour from Rice Lake, but it's better than the 5 hour drive to Madison! I'm scheduled for surgery in Madison Dec. 14. I'm not sure I'd be able to make the meeting this week, but what is the schedule going to be? Congrats on your and your hubby's loss, wow. Renee

Renee, Sorry, I don't know all the details, but once I do I will post them for you and everyone else. Can't wait to meet you. Maybe once you feel better after the surgery, we can get together. In the meantime, keep me posted as to how you are doing. Stephanie
