home from surgery

Well I am home from my surgery. I can hardly believe i went thru w/ it. ha ha... Everything went wonderful. no complications, no problems. The pain hasn't been too bad. I passed the leak test. I feel really sore all over, I'm sure part of it is from getting in and out of bed...I am eating pureed chicken right now.. it's not too bad. FInally had a BM, that was wonderful, never thought i'd say that lol.. anyways, just wanted to post and say it all went well Melissa RNY 11/4/04

Congrats on your event free surgery. I had mine on 10-20 and had an internal infection and had to stay 6 days. I have been home now for 2 weeks and doing well. I feel a little out of sorts because I am not in my regular groove/schedule. Like the other post I get head hunger sometimes too, that's the pits. I am starting to get ready to go to some social events besides going to the store, but I am still not ready about food events. I have lost 26 lbs so far but it has slowed some. I am walking everyday and I hope that helps. God bless and enjoy being home now. Tammy
