Insurance Comp=retarded

I woke up this morning and went out to talk to my mom, she said that she got the bills from my surgery, which was 2 months ago yesturday, and she said that all the costs were denied from the insurance company bc it was consider cosmic surgery, well ok duh lets think about it, really, if u preapproved for me to have the surgery, why the hell arent u covering it?!?!?!?!?!?!?! here it goes again, i waited 6 months for the insurance just to approve me and now there doing this Insurance Company

Follow the instructions and file an appeal immediately! I know there is usually a disclaimer, that the approval does not necessarily mean they will pay for what was approved. I think there's a 30-day limit to send stuff in. Keep copies of EVERYTHING. If this fails the Insurance Commissioner is the next step. I won a claim many years ago, and it was well worth it.

Actually send the appeal letter to the president of the insurance comapny and the insurance commisioner. if you could get a lawyer to do it on his letterhead it would even be better. good luck!
