Looking for lawyer to represent for appeal.

Insurance provider has denied coverage, after wasting our time to have hours of special sleep study, and doctors statements of medical neccesity. All doctors, employer, and specialty doctors (sleep study, nutritionist) concure that bypass surgery is answer; however, insurance took easy route of just saying no. They promised to respond in 15 days after recieving information from doctors, but fumbled the information several times claiming that it was never sent, had gotten lost, etc. Standard generic letter of refusal. Would like to hire attorney to represent us (for my wife) in a sound case with supported documentation, not words or heresay. Do not know if such a attorney exists, and what field of representaion they would be under (Insurance claims) ? My wife is so upest, but I told her that this is what insurance company wants...is her to give up battle. I am not pushed over so easily. Thank you Debbie. Yes that is a wonderful start. It is such a shame to have all this happen. I see the pain my wife is in every day, and sometimes I don't know what to do to help. I have read many messages from folks on this website, and what a wonderful place it is for people in need of help or support. If only the insurance companies would spend the time to see the sadness, joy, tears, and laughter that I have seen in such a short while while visiting the site with my wife. zMaybe they would then understand how their efforts could make the world a happier place.
