Need an angel

I am having Lap RNY on Sept 21 and really think having an angel would be great. Also please anyone in need of an angel let me know.

Hello Julie, Dx E guided me to your post, as I posted on the main forum this morning about wanting an angel as well. I was surprised to see that you live near me! I am having my surgery done on the 28th of this month so we would be a week apart of one another. I would be willing to be an angel for you and check in on you. I am not sure how good I would be, but I would sure give it my best shot!! Are you having your surgery done by Dr. Pitchford? I would like to hear more from you if you are interested. If you would rather have someone else who is post op already with some experience that could guide you, I certainly would understand that as well. It would still be fun to keep in contact. Hi Sherri I think it would be great if we were angels for each other especially because we are having surgery so close to each other. I am very nervous about my surgery coming up and just thought having an angel sounded like a good thing. I am new at this but if you don't mind I would love to be your angel and for you to mine. Yes I am having surgery with Dr Pitchford. Are you also? I haven't been to many of the support groups one last winter to just help me learn about the surgery and then I just attended the last one ofcourse for support now that I have a date. Do you live in Eau Claire? We could exchange phone #'s.

Hey Julie, I think that would be great if we could be angels for one another! Yes, I am having my surgery performed by Dr. Pitchford as well. Mine is the first one in the morning at 7:45 am. What time is yours? Are you having it laproscopically or open? Yours is coming up fast so I need to know as much as you are willing to share with me about yourself and your surgery. I would be willing to pop in to the hospital to see how you are doing as well if you wouldn't mind. I wouldnt stay long, just to say hello and check in on you to let everyone on the board know how you are doing if that would be o.k. with you??? We could email each other to get more information and ask questions as well before surgery, or even call. I do not live in the Eau Claire area. I can let you know via email my where abouts.
