Success with Humana Appeals? Help!

Hi everyone: I have been denied by Humana Choice Care. I'm in the process of writing my appeal letter and am hoping it works. Have any of you dealt with Humana or had to battle with them via the appeal process? Any thoughts, insight, or encouragement you can send my way would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Carmen

Hi Carmen, I had Humana Alliance - not sure what the difference is but they covered mine. Good luck with your appeal and fight! fight! fight! Is your surgeon's office helping you with the appeal? They might be able to find out what the insurance co is looking for - a specific diagnosis. Good luck and keep us posted! Amy
