Plastic surgury nerves. Sept.1
Good Luck on your surgery. Just wondering if insurance pays for tummy tucks that are a result of WLS? My aunt had WLS & I know the company she works for, their insurance does pay for a tummy tuck if it is needed as a result of having the WLS. Just kinda curious, because right now I'm hoping to have surgery, but also wondering about after surgery thoughts.
Hello Bo,
This is Dawn, one of the girls that were in your old jeans in Wausau! I had a tummy tuck this February and I must admit it was a harder recovery than my open gastric bypass. I had all my muscles tightened at the same time, and it was hard to stand straight for the first few weeks, a very tight pulling feeling. As with the gastric bypass, getting up and down is difficult the first few days, you use those thiegh muscles again and they hurt! I was amazed at the way I looked from my profile. I could see things I hadn't in years, (wink, wink!). You'll pull through just fine! You have a very positive attitude about life now, and this will only fuel you! Trust me, Even though it is another surgery, it is one soooo worth having.
Please keep me posted on your recovery, I'll let the other girls in our group know how your doing!
Good luck to you BO!

WOW Bo!! I'm so excited for you. You'll do fine (easy for me to say, huh?) do me a favor and enjoy the pain meds for me, ok? It isn't often enough that we get them and get to truly relax - so RELAX already! I can't wait to see the finished ( or at least phase one) product!
What are they doing in this phase??
You'll be in my prayers!!
