Hi Kathy. I didn't have dr. burhop, but tmy three sisters did. none of them would change a thing. I went with his associate dr. chiang and everything went very smoothly. I am just short of a week postop, but my sibs are 15 months, 8 months, and 4 months out. everyone in the drs office is very nice and helpful. if you are having any questions give megan or lynn a call.

Kathy, I have dr. burhop, he did my rny on august 4th. He is a quiet guy but very VERY competent and professional. I didn't have any complications at all. The drain was removed before I went home and he also uses steri-strips instead of staples the only complications i've had is from drinking too fast, gives me severe stomach pain and then I throw up and it goes away. good luck in your journey Sue down 20 lbs

I didn't have Dr. Burhop. I had Dr. Chiang. They are in the same practice together. I think their program is great. They are both super doctors call the office with any questions - the'll be more than willling to help you. I had Lap RNY on 7/2/04 with minimal problems. If you have more questions feel free to e-mail me I'd be glad to answer them. Margaret

HI Kathy! Dr. Burhop removed my Gall Bladder in January of this year and he's super! You'll adore him! I had my WLS in 12/13/02 with Dr. Chiang and when I needed my gall bladder out - Dr. Burhop did the job! You're in good hands! My experience with Elmbrook was excellent too!!
