Hi Lora, I am not usually on this board, I am on the lap band forum but I live in Sauk City, in between Baraboo and Madison. I go to Milwaukee to Dr. Engstrand for my fills and he did my surgery June 3. Nice to hear from you. Denise

Marsha, I will be having my surgery at Wausau instead. The dr there will do it lap instead of open. I am hoping for surgery in October. I meet with the surgeon Sept 2nd, and I already have all my other required appts done. I was told I should be approved and that my insurance is great and fast. Good luck! Denise

Denise I had my surgery done in Wausau and I had no problems at all Dr Steven Weiland is my doctor a wonderful man and he has done me good. I did have to have open but only because I had to much scare tissue and they had to open me up after trying the lap, but I have no regreats i have lost a total of 123lbs since Dec 3rd 2003. And now i can eat almost anything i want with in reason of course and I dont have much trouble with dumping at all. Hope all goes well for you. Diana

Hi Marsha, My name is Yolanda and I too am an overeater. I live on the Menominee Indian Reservation about 50 miles north of Green Bay. My surgeon is Dr Tom Geocaris in Green Bay. My surgery is scheduled for August 27th. Glad to meet ya...

Hi Yolanda, Nice to meet you and CONGRATULATIONS on your upcoming surgery!!! I would be so excited.......yet sick to my stomach at the same time. I wish you all the best as you begin your journey. I know someone else from WI who is having hers on the 26th. Let me know how it goes for you. Marsha
