Carnie Wilson
Carnie Wilson underwent weight-loss surgery (WLS) in 1999 and has lost more than 155 pounds. She will be speaking about her surgery in the Quad-Cities. As the Program Manager of the Genesis Center for Bariatric Surgery, I would be delighted for you to join us for this event!
"A Day with Carnie" will begin at 1 p.m. on July 18, 2004 at the RiverCenter, Great River Hall, 136 East Third St., Davenport, Iowa. Special exhibits will include areas to talk to surgeons, psychologists, dietitians, members of our support group, and more.
At 2 p.m. I will be talking about our program at the Genesis Center for Bariatric Surgery. After this, Carnie, who is a member of the pop group Wilson Phillips and daughter of legendary Beach Boy Brian Wilson, will be sharing her experience both before and after having WLS. A question and answer will follow the presentation. Carnie will meet fans and sign autographs following the presentation.
