Hi Paula, Just wanted to welcome you on your journey. I'm also a patient of Dr. Georgen's. You'll be in good hands! I didn't actually have an appointment with him 1:1 until a week or two before surgery. Prior to that was getting all the pre-op testing done and meeting the internist at Theda Clark. My echo results were back within a week...but I had mine done in Green Bay. Have you attended a support group yet? I generally attend the first and third Monday groups, but will be on vacation the first Monday of August so will miss it. Hope things go well and your surgery date comes fast. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions I can answer. Lori Danielson

Hi Sharon, Hope things go well with your insurance company and you'll be on the road to a new life! My insurance company has an exclusion so I was self-pay, but there wasn't any financing available through their office a year ago so I can't help you on that one. Have you been to a support group yet? Would love to meet you. I generally attend the 1st and 3rd Monday groups. I'll be on vacation and missing the first Monday group in August, but plan to be at the other. Good luck on your journey. Feel free to e-mail me any timen with questions. Lori Ann
