Brian Cagle- Anyone have a psyc. eval with him??

I have my psyc. test with Dr. Cagle. In Green Bay, WI. What does he ask? Any clues? Help. Thanks.

I had mine done down in fond du lac Dr.Dennison.She just had gastric bypass last year by Dr.Georgen so she knows how it is to be overweight.I took about a 8 page test and that was it then the next visit she went over everything with me.Good luck.Just waiting for everything to be sent out to insurance.

Hi Debby, I had Dr Cagle for my psych eval, and he asked me questions like why I ate too much, why I'm overweight, etc. He's an excellent shrink, I was seeing him til the end of last month, before I moved. However, he tells it like it is, no BS. He wouldn't clear me because of depression, so he may do the same for you. Just be prepared for what he tells you- it may not be what you want to hear. I have since decided to try and lose the weight on my own one last time. He's helped me with my food addiction so much, that I may actually succeed this time. Good luck to you! Shelley

Hi Shelley. Thanks for responding. BUT, now I'm depressed and more nervous about this. I don't want him to fail me. I have tried everything and with the Dr. they had tried alot of things with me and nothing works. I read your profile and you said that Dr. Cagle said you were depressed. May I ask about what? (Just in general) Sometimes I'm depressed about my weight. I'm 37, 5'10" and 320. But, I don't feel depressed about anything else. I think that I'm beatiful, just big, too big. I don't know where your having your surgery mine if all goes through is in neenah.Dr.Dennison was a wonderful person not alot of time spent except for the tests and going over the eval.Got in fast too.She just had gastric done last year and knows what we feel she also does a support group for people thinking or who have had it done.Her number is 920 322-9100 inside out counseling is what it's called.Good luck to you.Keep in touch i would like to keep in touch with someone who is going through the beginning stages like me.Thanks.

Debby- I had my initial eval with him and I was in tears in 5 minutes. I though he was very unprofessional and has a grudge against heavy people. He basically said eat less and get off you butt and you would lose weight. I would recommend Dr. Eric Lund in Green Bay. He is so much nicer and kinder. He will dictate you letter right then and there. Cagle does not discuss your appt unless you make another appt and he does not tell you what is in his letter. Overall he made me feel terrible about myself and I don't think anyone has the right to do that to a person. He talks to you for an hour then you take two multiple choice tests. If you can I would go somewhere else. Cheri
