Title 19 Timeline

Hi. I was just wondering if anyone had surgery under title 19 insurance and if so how long did it take to get an approval.

Title 19 - Medical Assistance has 20 days from the time they receive your file to approve or deny your claim. NOW>..in my case it was much different because of stupidty errors. IF your clinic sends all the appropriate info -- they will approve USUALLY in 2-10 days. My DH's Prior Auth took 10 days. On the 9th day his clinic called and said they needed it approved asap -- it was done the next day. His surgery date is June 14th. Mine is July 6th Gala
