New to board

Hi everyone, my name is Melissa and I live in Racine,WI. I just went today for the first seminar at Froedtert Hospital for WLS. Dr. James Wallace is the surgeon. I am really excited now, especially after meeting him. I feel so much better having some of my questions answered. I am almost 27, I am married to an AWESOME man, we have 2 sons and 2 daughters , ages 9mo, 3,5,7. I weigh about 335 right now. This is my highest weight. So far I know that the surgery, the doctor and hospital are all in network for me. SO this is encouraging. I am not getting too excited until I am officially approved. Well I just thought I'd introduce myself!! Melissa

Hi Melissa! Welcome to the boards! It is nice to meet you! My name is Traci, and I had surgery at Froedtert Hospital on June 2, 2003. My surgeon was Dr. Nakeeb, but he is no longer there. I know Dr. Wallace is an excellent surgeon! I hope you will come to some of the support group meetings held by Froedtert. They are held the last Monday of each month.
