Just wanted to say HI to everyone and to let you know that I am about to begin my journey down this new road. I look forward to chatting with you all and getting to know you while tapping into your expertise in navigating this new road. My surgery is this Tuesday, May 4 at 10am in Madison so be thinking of me. I will be back after the big day and probably have plenty of questions on how to make the most of my new tool. Thanks for being here. Cindy

Hi Cindy, I will be thinking about you on the 4th. It will be a little hard the frist 4 weeks, but after that, a slide through it. I am going on my 3rd month, and I am very happy I had it done. I have lost around 40 lbs. , and 4 dress sizes, U will feel just great in weeks. Make sure you walk alot and eat right, that is the key to it. Take care and go in with a possitive adatute. Bye now, Rosie.

Cindy Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!This is an amazing journey! I had surgery on March 9th. I have lost 50lbs so far.....My best suggestion to you, is no matter how bad you may feel after surgery, GET UP AND WALK! The complications that come from not walking are terrible. You will be very happy that you walked. It aids in healing, you feel better, you have more energy, your chances of fluid in your lungs is decreased, and best of all NO blood clots!! Good luck! i will pray for you! Heather
