I'm on my way!

Hi all- I had my first visit with my surgeon yesterday and everything went very well. He had a lot of information for me but mostly confirmed all that I had researched in the last year. I am now awaiting the scheduling of the dietician, psych eval and the pulmonologist. From there we will go to requesting pre auth with my HMO and WHEN I am approved, thinking positively, I will begin pre op testing. Dr. Ryder believes within 3 months I will be on my way to a healthier life. Thank you to all that post and share as you have provided me with so much information whether it be facts about the surgery or emotions that are experienced. One way or another you have helped me in my journey and for that I am truly grateful. Thank you! -Shawna
