Hi All I need some help. I am 3.5 months out and have lost about 40 lbs. I had lap RNY and am a little depressed in that the darn scale just isn't moving. I get about 70 g's of protein a day although have deviated a few times, tho 70 is the norm. I've stepped up walking. Just can't seem to get that scale to move. I am drinking at least 64 oz a day as well. Any ideas?????

Good Morning Joan, Do not be discouraged by what the scale says. Please remember a few things. We all have plateaued in our many attempts to lose the fat. You are doing a great job by walking...if you are building strength in your muscles, remember bulking up adds muscle weight. Everyone loses weight at a different pace. There are too many factors that play into your metabolism and such. Hang in there. Slow and steady wins the race. Remember you are lucky to have had the surgery. Chuck the scale. Head to a clearance rack or whatever and buy some clothes. Enjoy the way they fit. Take comfort in how far you have come. It sounds like you are being very disciplined and very determined. Patience my dear. Be patient. Good Luck! S
