Milwaukee/Franklin Support Groups

I am 7 months post-op and just moved to the Milwaukee area. Are there any support groups in the Milwaukee/Franklin area? Thanks! Chris Lap RNY 7/31/03 108# lost to date

Hi Chris. I am not from franklin area,but if you go to yahoo groups, they have a milwaukee group for wls in there, that should be able to help with support group.

Hi Chris!! Welcome to Milwaukee!! There is an EXCELLENT support group that meets at the Wisconsin Athletic Club (87th and Watertown Plank Road) near Froedtert Hospital. We meet the last Monday of each month from 6-7:30 pm. It is for both pre-and post-ops alike! Many of the people who attend had surgery at Froedtert and follow their plan, but the group is open to anyone! I hope you will come! The next meeting is April 26th.
