First time on Wisconsin forum

Hi everyone, I have been researching the many different surgeries for sometime and because I am self pay, i can only afford the band. I think for myself it is a great idea. In many years ahead, I don't need or want the band, they can remove it easily. You have a better chance at weight loss because when you start to fell hungry, you can always go for a fill, which means they put saline solution in the port and the band tightens around the stomach so you have less urge to consume more food. This can be done forever and with the other surgery, once you start stretching that stomach, you will be hunger more often. this is just my own opinion and all the different surgeries work one way or another. I just couldn't afford the bypass surgery. I live about 30 minutes from Madison and would like to talk to more bandsters around the area. Nice to meet all from Wisconsin. Denise
