Any suggestions

Hi everyone. I am new to this site and am finding alot of good information here. I have a few questions. I have already seen my surgeon, Dr. Garren and paperwork was filed to my insurance company. I have Benefit Systems Service Inc (BSSI). They denied my first request as not medically necessary. I am preparing to send them an appeal and wondered if anyone has ever dealt with this insurance company? I would also appreciate any suggestions on where I could locate some good documentation to send with my appeal. Dr. Garren's nurse said that based on my BMI alone the procedure should be considered medically necessary. I want to send them a six inch thick appeal letter so they have no reason to deny me again. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
