Anyone else have UHC for ins.?

I am looking for people with United Healtcare to share their experiences on the approval process. Was there a quick response? Any problems? etc. I am hoping to have my file sent in April for approval and shooting for a surgery date in early June if every goes as planned.

Gloria, Unfortunately I do not know the answer to your question. We have two insurances where I work, one being UHC. I learned that our policy had an exclusion in it for baritric surgery, so I switched to Compcare Blue and had no problems. I know of others on this website who had UHC and were approved, so I think it depends on your policy. I hope you have no problems with the approval process and that it is a quick one for you!
