Hi everyone, I'm hoping to have surgery soon, and I'm wondering if it's OK to eat sugar free pudding? Thanks in advance!! Shelley Rath

Hi Shelley...It's me...the K-Man! I was wondering the same thing and also wonder if sf pudding is a possibility, can you add protein powder to it to help get our protein requirements in for the day???? If you hear from anyone on this, please let me know....Thanks...K-Man

3 Wisconsin people on at the same time! wow! My son made me some last night, I have yet to eat it. I guess it would be ok for a treat like a sugar free popsicle! I'll try it tonight and I'll let you know if I have trouble! Mags RNY Lap 12-30-03 210-175

Hello, I did try SF pudding, and I tolerated it quite well. I can not remember when I had it first, but it was early on after surgery. I think everyone is different in what they can and can not tolerate, so perhaps trying a small amount of it first to see how you handle it. I loved SF jello when I came home from the hospital (I ate it all the time!) Not a great source of protein, but it was one food I could tolerate early on (they even gave that to me in the hospital so I knew it was okay). Best wishes on your journey! Traci (Perhaps we can give this WI board a boost with some good conversation!!)

The sugar free fat free pudding is GREAT! Chocolate, banana cream, all of them! My family thinks it's better than the regular stuff. Enjoy! Heidi-Wisconsin
