6 Months

Well today is my 6 month and century anniversary. Now that things are finally on the upswing I feel much better. Are most people out here posting on the main board? I don't see to many recent posts for WI. Hope this message finds others in good health and pre-ops in good spirits during the waiting process...

Deborah, Congratulations on your success thus far!! You and I had surgery just 2 weeks apart (mine was 6-2-03!!). Keep up the great work!! I do go to the main message board, but am often overwelmed at the number of posts there, so then I come to the WI boards and try to touch base with some people that are closer to me! I live in Waukesha and had surgery in Milwaukee. I was hoping one day some of us from the WI board could get together for dinner to try to get to know each other better and offer each other support. Glad to hear things are going well. I also don't like using the main message board. So much traffic and it is hard to follow sometimes. I try to get to the web site often, but lately time is limited. When I do though, I use the WI message board to post. I agree with Traci, it would be cool to get together sometime with people from WI. I do attend a support group mtg in Platteville but I would like to meet more people in WI that have done this surgery to. I am 4 mths post op and most everything is going well.
