WPS Insurance

Anyone have WPS insurance of Wisconsin? Has anyone had the surgery and they covered it ? Any hints on getting them to cover the cost!

Hi James, I have WPS and they covered my surgery IN FULL. I didn't pay one penny and my total was over $20,000.00. Not sure what plan I'm on. I did have to jump through a few hoops. The first letter from my Dr. was not denied but they wanted more supportive documentation and evaluation so I had a month to get that together. After that it took a month to get their approval. I was walking in a dream after the OK, you could have pinched me. I never thought they'd cover it! I had Dr. Gould in Madison and his office did a lot of the insurance letters etc. I had Lap RNY (they'd only cover the RNY) 5 months ago and I'm down 103 lbs. Again I'm in a dream, you could pinch me! Good Luck, Tiffany
