I am home

Well I made it to the other side. What a journey. I had surgery Wednesday and came home this morning. (Sat) I have a feeding tube so I don't get to drink anything yet. I get ice chips. The feeding tube is going into my "old" stomach where I am putting in my ensure and water to keep me healthy. This is to give my new pouch time to heal. Dr wants to give it extra time since I had the previous surgery and he had a lot of manovering to do while inside. I miss drinking stuff, but ice chips help. I have at least 10 days and if the second leak test goes well I wil get to start my liquid diet in about 10 days. Will post more as I feel up to it. Very glad to be home.
