1 week
Well I only have a week left till surgery. Getting very anxious. I think I will be ok this week at work, it will be the weekend that will be hard for me. Good thing on Sunday I have to drive my brother up to Camp Waunbeek in the Dells. It will be a good day for a drive. The only thing I still really want to do, which I will do on Sunday is go to Elias Deli and have a hot fudge grilled pound cake. That is the best dessert in the world. I have pertty much had everything else I have wanted. I only have the calcium left to buy for after surgery. I haven't been able to find the citrate chewable, so the pharmacist as Walmart showed me a crusher that I could you to crush to non-chewable ones. He said that a woman he worked with had the same surgery and used this also. Best Wishes to anyone having surgery in the coming weeks, and months. Bless you all. Talk to you soon...
Good luck on your surgery! I wish you only the best next Monday!! When you get nervous this week, think of how great you will look and feel in six months. Or, think of us who are still on the long journey of getting to the stage your at...you are soooooo lucky to finally be getting close. I wish I had the insurance hurdle over with...good luck and I'll be thinking about you next Monday!!
Good luck Deborah! I am very happy for you. I know someday I will be able to get nervous about my day coming, but for now, I must be as patient as I can be while the insurance company tries to find a way to deny my surgery. For now, prayer and prayer and prayer is all I have to rely on. I will be thinking of you next week and will say an extra prayer. Best wishes!!!
Best of luck to you. I know this surgery has changed my life in a very positive way and I am sure who will feel this too. I have come so far in the last eight months and am still amazed that we can survive on such a little bit of food! Just remember that changing your "mental" habits are the hardest. We "think" we have to eat so much more than we do. Take care and let us know how you're doing.
