I'm already approved... just waiting...

Hi there all. I'm in La Crosse, WI., waiting patiently (or not so patiently) for my date to arrive. I was approved for surgery by my insurance Mid-December, and was told there would be a 6-8 month wait for the LAP RNY. Unfortunately, I can only guess when my turn will arrive. The scheduler usually calls you with a date about a month prior. I can wait for the surgery... but I really want the phone call! For some reason this won't be real until I'm scheduled for surgery. *sigh*

HI Chris! I wish you the best during this waiting period. Try to use this time to physically and mentally prepare for your upcoming surgery. I know it seems like a long time, but once you get that call, things will start rolling fast! So hang in there, and keep us posted on the boards as to your journey! Traci Pre-op June 2, 2003
