I had my RNY August 23,2010.. My husband also had the RNY 6 weeks before me.. He had a revision for the vertical band gastroplasty ..My husband is a truck driver.. He is also the bread winner! He stayed  with me for as long as he could.. Then our daughter who is 28 yrs old took really good care of her mama.. My husband is very supportive! I wish we lived closer to Neenah..The drive home after surgery is just awful! I vomited  just about the whole way home from three out of the four surgeries ..

When I had my RNY we were living in Mountain wis, you probably know where that is, about 11/2 hours from Neenah and yes that was tough, I thru up along the roadside, and continued to do that for the first month back and forth to Neenah. Now we live in Kaukauna about a 1/2 hour drive so a little better. I am really getting nervous about the whole thing, mostly the after part.

Do you have a recliner chair? After my tummy tuck that is where I slept for over a month.. I did go back to work after 2 and half weeks.. I have a easy job... Lol..I was nervous too.. Dr Georgen is good Dr your in good hands.. I asked for liquid pain meds.. In my opinion it works better and I was always pushing the morphine while in the hospital..Just  think about how GOOD your going to look.. Nice flat tummy and SMALLER pants! I'm here if you need me! :)

I had my tummy tuck on May 1st and am feeling pretty good, that is a tough surgery, very painful. I still have some fluid buidup on my right side but seems to be getting better. I also love Dr Georgen, he did my RNY back in 2006. I dont know what other types of removal surgery he does. I had asked him about my inner thighs and arms and he does not do that. I had went to a seminar at the Neenah plastic surgery center and they do nice work, but insurance doesnt cover, good luck, where do you live in wisconsin?

Can you tell me what city this Dr. is located?  I had RNY 10 years ago, I'm 5'1" and 111 lbs, with a lot of extra skin that I want to get rid of, I also need some breast implants, does this Dr. do that as well and what are the costs any of you have paid as I will have to pay out of pocket?  I also am wondering how long any of you were off of work after surgery and if this Dr. has a requirement of not-smoking for a period of time prior to doing any surgeries...thanks so much!
