You are right, Dr. Gruh is very comfortable to chat with and the eval was uneventful aside from my hand hurting filling out all those circles on that test!  I have a follow up scheduled in a few weeks as well as my appts with Lori Knapp, both are scheduled and should be all done with her end of Feb....oh gees, this may actually happen!

no green light yet. Elaine has my insurance information and I am hoping it gets submitted to the insurance company this week. It can take up to 3 weeks for them to reply.

I think the waiting when you get this close is the worst part! This is driving me bonkers....good thing I already had my psych eval! haha

I hope the GOV does not double our INS premiums....what a horrible year for this to happen in! The one year I change to WPS...just my luck...guess the family will be eating Mac n Cheese for the rest of this year!

I don't think our premiums will go up. We are already paying 15% of the cost that is why it is so high.

Good luck to you too!

I am SO fed up with all this stuff, I'm telling ya, after surgery and my graduation this May I am seriously looking to move out of the state!

Dawn go in with an open mind, ask him to explain everything to you.  Mine was different then others just because of previous surgeries.  But I will tell you that its alittle bit more slowing down and listening to the body, this is a pretty big surgery with cutting.  Wear the binder faithfully.  You will do well.  Just make sure YOU are feeling comfortable after meeting with him tomorrow.  If not ask to speak to him again.  Let me know how it goes, if you need to talk I can be there for you!!  This is exciting!!!

I too am going through the process of preapproval for RNY with Dr. Georgen. It was comforting to read all the positive comments that you all posted about MBS and Dr. Georgen especially after the first post. I think no matter where you choose, there will always be horror stories. Elaine at MBS has been wonderful with helping me get approved. Hoping to hear about my appeal letter soon. Thanks everyone.
