Does anyone even come here?
Hello!!
This board has always been a big blah. I'm a huge visitor of the RNY & BAF boards. I had RNY on April 14, 2008 with Dr. Regan (Columbia - St. Mary's) Milwaukee, WI. I can say my surgery went well and I'm still trying to lose the last 50 pounds. Good look to you in your journey....because that what weight loss surgery is a JOURNEY!!

Nicci - your TV story is actually what made me decide to go through with contacting a doctor about getting the surgery done - wow, small world!!! I'm sorry you had to go through bad stuff with Dr. Kemmerling also Nicci. I really wonder why he has such a chip on his shoulder -- he obviously isn't doing a very good job. And, I can say, I am the type of person that gives compliments over criticism about people -- so I don't want others that may read any of my posts thinking that I am "one of those people" that complain all the time. I love to give credit when credit is due - but there truly is no credit to give with him. And to think I praised him up and down to people -- especially the ones that had negative things to say about him -- until I got a taste of it.
Hi Faye Anne,
You saw the story on TV about me? I did it with the best of intentions and then when I wanted to get the WHOLE story out, they told me that they couldn't get involved in case there was a malpractice suit. I feel like I led people to his doorstep and then couldn't do anything about it after I realized what a horrible person he was. I'm sorry you went through all you did.
Do you see other doctors advertising on TV like he does? I don't. It makes me wonder why he's gotta try so hard to get patients, you know? Most doctors can rely on their reputations and don't need expensive commercials.
He's sure good at fooling people. The doctor who saved my life even told me that he thought the guy was an idiot. He came into my room before lapband removal and said, "I spoke with Dr. kemmerling. He's a 'nice' guy. Wow, what an idiot." My savior surgeon didn't have a single decent word to say about the guy and for good reason. A bad doctor knows a good doctor will be able to see right through the nonsense.
How are you now, FayeAnne? I hope you're better?
