Consultation done, decision made.

Met with Dr. Prewitt in Menomonee Falls yesterday along with my husband.  Liked him and his staff very much.  After discussing my options along with my weight related medical history decided on the RNY.  Today I am excited, yesterday I was so nervous my blood pressure was up up up.  Now the checklist of things that I need to get done prior to sending off to my insurance for approval.  Was told it could be 3 months if all else goes well. 

I'm having RNY at Froedert with Dr. Wallace from Medical College. 1/26/10. Three months ago seemed like forever, but now it is almost here. Good luck!

Good Luck to you as well Suzanne.  Hope all goes well.  Do you or will you be going to a Support Group in the area?  I will be thinking of you on 1/26 and look forward to hearing how you are doing.  Please keep in touch if you need someone who can truly emphathize with your journey let me know, maybe we can hold eachother's hand seeing how we live in the same basic area.

The medical college program has a monthly meeting. I will be going to those.
